Description
Love Is Vicious, X-Ray Stars highly anticipated follow up to 2004s (CD-Baby best seller) Drive , has arrived. Once again, Chris Cole (vocals), Scott Dreher (guitar), Glen Pappas (drums) and new addition Paul DiLeo (Bass) have combined talents to create a collection of songs that combine pop sensibility with a power reminiscent of Concrete Blonde. Or, what X-Ray Star likes to call raw pop.
Scott believes the bands unique sound comes from the four of us being very open to each others ideas. With musical influences ranging from Patty Griffin to Black Sabbath, the groups ability to combine these influences has made Love Is Vicious some of the most interesting work yet from X-Ray Star. Glen feels these songs are some of the best Ive ever recorded. And Chris agrees. Its the combining of influences that has made this project something I am so very proud of.
