Description
Access All Areas represents a mixture of all the different styles of music that I write and perform - the clue is in the album title! It is a blend of blues and rock I suppose, where I generally play most, if not all of the instruments that you will hear, with two exceptions: Tracks 1 & 9, on which I am joined by my son, Matt, who also arranged and produced those two tracks at Soup Studios in London, and plays a fair bit on them too! All the other tracks were recorded at GypsyKateStudios, my own studios, which are based at Billingham, Cleveland, U.K.
This CD marks a contrast to my other CD for sale, The Gypsy Suite, which is a theme-based narrative all related to the theme of the Irish Potato Famine. This CD is a collection of individual songs that I have written, track 2 is an instrumental, and finishing up with an instrumental for track 10, and generally have some autobiographical basis as their inspiration.
