Salutations to All= My name is Gerard, nick name Gerry. I was born in Madawaska, Maine. My mother was a very good mother, my father was a hard working and a funny man. Delia and Henry were their names. We are a family of twelve children. Nine girls and three boys. My ambition was to play music, mostly guitar. Write songs. It has always been a challenge recording music in northern Maine. I was hired in a papermill. I was union president for many years helping my coworkers. I worked there for close to 30 years. Now retired I have time to concentrate on music. I'm a jack of all trades. Name it I do it. I have 4 wonderful children. I wish I could see them more often. As they say, they have their own lives to live. I have an understanding wife. Her name is Cathie. We've been together 22 years. My goal is to record more of my written songs. My motto is your never to old to start anything in life. Life is short, don't let it pass you by. Thank you for your support. Hope you enjoy the message in my lyrics.
