Description
A real, blast of creativity! Lots of fine tunes! I especially enjoyed 'FUBAR', 'Christ-like' and 'Do You Believe'. The sense of humor really comes across in tunes like 'Pimple of Talent', 'Misanthropia' and elsewhere. I was pleased at how clearly the lyrics came through. Recording-wise, I was quite amazed at the quality of sound all the way through. The whole album has real solidity on the bottom end, and it quite masterfully mixed. I also enjoyed how many different guitars were used, and the number of well-placed sound effects and percussions in several songs. Altogether this is an impressive offering. Drums, guitars and bass were all well-arranged and played. I particularly enjoyed Zack Root's bass parts - very inventive. Overall "Kerouac King Kong" is a really professional job! - Wayne Wadhams (Record Producer, Songwriter, Artist - Fifth Estate, D-Men, Studio Musician - Lovin' Spoonful)
