Description
This album of Nocturnes features some of the most beautiful works of Chopin, Debussy, Scriabin, Poulenc, Barber, and others.
The Nocturne is a piece evoking the night, mystery and melancholy,
peace and passion. Some of the greatest composers explored this genre, which inspires varied colors and emotional landscapes.
These works were first performed by Allison Lovejoy as part of the peace movement at the advent of the second Gulf War. They are also a reflection of our passage through time as experienced in the hours of darkness.
