Horizon City
Andrew Norsworthy
"It's so nice to listen to a thoroughly intelligent bunch of songs. Singer and guitar player Andrew Norsworthy is a talented writer, enough that his songs would read just fine as poems on a page." -Anchorage Daily News

Description
Hailing proudly from the frosty climes of Anchorage, AK, independent troubadour Andrew Norsworthy has taken his distinctive sound and songs far and wide for over ten years. He hasn't stopped moving, returning from a successful stint performing in Germany to a relentless US tour schedule in 2004. Key releases of the past few years include 2003's critically-praised, elegant folk cycle Stateside, 2005's eclectic The Absentee EP, and his 2007 release is a full-length called Horizon City.
"It's so nice to listen to a thoroughly intelligent bunch of songs. Singer and guitar player Andrew Norsworthy is a talented writer, enough that his songs would read just fine as poems on a page. Almost as refreshing: The former Anchorage boy's new CD, "Horizon City" -- set for official release early next year -- is largely melody-driven. It shows off his knack for unexpected song structures. And it maintains a certain rawness without coming off as unpolished." -Anchorage Daily News
