"Another Round" is the third release from the lads of Seamus Stout. Recorded in 2006, it's a pleasing blend of Scottish and Irish music. It contains some well known favorites like "Wild Rover" and "South Australia" as well as some truly unusual arrangements like "The Gravel Walks", which begins with a "jig" version of "The Gravel Walk" before shifting back into the more recognizable "reel". Each track was created to surprise and delight both the first-time and more seasoned Celtic music enthusiast.
The main idea with each of Seamus Stout's CDs is to try and capture the infectious energy of one of their live performances. These guys love Celtic music and are having a great time on stage! Toward that end, they shy away from quadruple overdubs and guest studio musicians when recording. What you love about Seamus Stout "live" is what comes across in each CD.
