Description
Every Year for my Birthday I decide to play a show. My birthday show, if you will. The rule becomes: I play whatever I feel like playing because it's my birthday. Generally the set includes a few covers, a bunch of new songs I'm trying out and a couple old favourites that I enjoy playing. This birthday show wasn't any different, except that it was recorded--and now it's available for purchase. My very first Live CD featuring 4 brand new songs never previously recorded or released. My friend Caroline Brooks of The Brooks Sisters (www.brookssisters.ca) was there that night and I got her up on stage to sing with me on "Hey, Jesus". Also, Indie favourite drummer/percusionist was there (by chance) Graydon James, and there just so happened to be congas there, so I got him up on two tracks ("All We Are is Filth" & "I Deserve") to play.
So I hope you enjoy the CD. It's a chance for those to get a taste of what I sound like live.
