Description
With an itch to reinstate soulful, honest rock and roll, this new 4-piece has forged ahead making an unwelcomed dent in the Orange County and Los Angeles music scene. Recently completing a third EP titled EP3 - Produced by the band and Chris Karns (Rocco Deluca & the Burden, The Ruse, Deccatree) & mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Mars Volta, White Stripes).
After inception, the group decided upon naming the project after the month in which it began. Hailing from Orange County, California, MARCH is a group of friends pulled together by a common goal: to reinstate rock in an inspiring and emotional format. Frontman, Paul Schulte's, expansive vocal range combined with the passionate, heavier background of the rhythm section, proved to be a dynamic and powerful mix.
Respected underground websites like The Pimp Rock Palace (www.theprp.com) describe the outfit sounding like a strange amalgamation of raw early U2.
Kings of A&R website reviews MARCH as an, Atmospheric & intelligent brand of alternative-rock, that falls somewhere between A Perfect Circle, Stone Temple Pilots, U2, The Police, Smashing Pumpkins and Year of the Rabbit/Failure.
Within its three years, MARCH has shared the stage with national acts such as 30 Seconds to Mars, Head Automatica, Augustana, Papa Roach, Cypress Hill, Tantric, Onesidezero, Memento and the Revolution Smile. Through their dedication and uncompromised performances, the group was awarded a position at the 2004 South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, TX.
