Dan Beahm and The Invisible Three
Acoustic indie-pop in the vein of Sufjan Stevens and Andrew Bird. Delicate, thoughtful vocals weave in and out of a tapestry of acoustic guitar, piano, cello and an eclectic assortment of orchestral instruments.

Description
about the album:
~2007~
Amplifier is a collection of 10 songs written, composed, produced, performed and recorded by Dan Beahm over the the past five years. Beahm's "heart on his sleeve" vocals weave in and out of music fueled mostly by acoustic guitar, but heavily peppered with cello, piano and the occasional oboe, English horn, French horn, clarinet or various and sundry other members of the woodwind/brasswind family. The album moves through various moods and stories and builds to an orchestral swell with the politically charged "Kandahar," but as a kind of light-hearted thanks, the listener is left with a new "dusty saloon" version of "Half as Cool as Han Solo" (previously available as an earlier recording on 2003 Renaissance Boy Recordings release Maybe I'll Fly).
about the artist:
Dan Beahm has been writing music for film since 1989 when he struck up a relationship with film makers Cory, Todd and Katie (now Hooten) Edwards (Blue Yonder Films, Inc). From there, Daniel has continued to create music for film and television, while also pursuing a performing career, both solo and with his various band projects.
Beahm began performing solo in Columbus, OH, in 1999, where he subsequently formed the band DB3. After a successful two years, Beahm moved to Illinois, where he continues to write and perform solo (as Dan Beahm & The Invisible Three) and with his band project (Cats or Cars, DB3, Mulletforce 5, Disciples of Gravity and Superspeedway) and to compose music for television, film, etc...
With over 200 songs to his credit, Daniel has successfully composed (and performed) across genres of alt-rock, pop, hip-hop, classical, country, electronica, folk-acoustic, jazz, spoken word, etc...
