Description
Jack McMahon continues to delight with his highly evolved songcraft and talents, both as a great vocalist and guitar player. This collection of songs follows on the promise of his previous release "Toe The Line" and fulfills his quest to dazzle the listener with a wide variety of genres including everything from funk to folk. Jack has led a long and industrious career from his early teenage endeavors with New Jersey band "Night Watch" to his days as a solo artist recording for Columbia Records and performing around NYC in the 70's. Since moving to the west coast and settling in Portland OR, Jack has been a perennial favorite on the local scene there, performing with his back up band and hosting a monthly songwriters circle. "The Oregonian" calls him a "Portland musical legend" and "Willamette Week" calls his voice "a sweet antidote" for troubled times. Jack McMahon is a seasoned artist whose maturity as a writer and performer is especially evident on this recording. It should establish Jack McMahon as an important artist for years to come.
