The Road Trip Continues….
After the success of their debut album, “Two Hits For The Kitty: The Sun Studio Sessions” (17 weeks in the world’s blues-roots chart,www.rootsmusicreport.com), “Get Gone!” finds the group traveling south again, this time to Fame Studios, home of the Muscle Shoals Sound.
On “Get Gone”, the MoTones mine the Muscle Shoals groove with the help of legendary sideman and original Swamper, David Hood, on bass.
Also featured are group leader John Altenburgh on piano and keys,co-leader Chris O’Keefe on guitar, well-respected jazz/blues tenor sax player John Greiner, Muscle Shoals studio musician and former Dickey Betts drummer Mike Dillon Curington, Keras Rubka-Nimz, and the powerhouse vocals of Otis McLennon.
