Lightborn is an esoteric lyricist and turntablist from Philadelphia. He first appeared as part of the True Wordsmith crew and advanced into his own style with the 2004 debut album "Angel of Def" on Level 3 Rhino Alert Records. Lightborn delivers celestial and spiritual rhymes with a fiery delivery. He has worked with the likes of Wu Tang/Sunz of Man's Killah Priest, Maylay Sparks, Wolfpac, Insane Clown Posse, Untytled MC, HMD, Animus, and formed the hip hop group "Phoenix Circle" with Earth AD, Spiral,And Javelin. Lightborn has continually generated respect and interest in the hip hop underground around the world.
