Description
Alcoholiday is the second full-length record from Los Angeles outlaw country rockers Zachariah & the Lobos Riders.
Formed in 2002 - These western barroom stalwarts became a massive live attraction in the United States with their original blend of country-rock and hip-hop music. Their cult following led to their appearance in 2005's comedy-horror film DEAD AND BREAKFAST which spawnmed a soundtrack and led to over 40,000 DVD sales of the film.
It's honky tonk. It's a sing a long. It's a massive country-inspired journey into America's desert heartland.
Zachariah (Lead singer) is also the star of ATTACK OF THE SHOW! - A daily TV show on G4 - check your local listings.
"Lonely" will be featured in the Ambush Entertainment horror film "Unearthed" (2007)
Drink up me 'earties yo ho...
“This record started as a journey back into barrooms across America – but ended up with me screaming on peyote buttons on an old western film set in Arizona, writing songs like “I Seem to Dream in Westerns” and “Medicine Man” as my roaring 20’s were slipping away…” – Zachariah Selwyn, 2007

THE LOBOS RIDERS
Formed in 2002 by lead singer Zachariah Selwyn and guitarist Dan Wistrom, the band quickly became an enormous live attraction around Los Angeles with their original blend of country, rock and hip-hop. Zachariah and crew transcended musical styles to become not only one of the most popular bands in town, but they have recorded with artists like Fergie from “Black Eyed Peas” and members of the “Supersuckers.” International fame came, however, when nine of Zachariah’s songs were featured in the cult favorite comedy/horror film Dead and Breakfast in 2005. (Winner: Audience Award and Jury award – Weekend of Fear Film Festival, Germany/Audience Award – Dead By Dawn Film Fest. Scotland).
“Best segments in a film in a long time – all Zachariah” – FilmThreat.com.
The key to this band is the live show. Zachariah, (ZACH SELWYN, As currently seen as a comedian/host of G 4’s flagship TV program ATTACK OF THE SHOW), leads marathon-length freestyle-rap sessions over country-rock break beats during sets by the band.
With a youtube.com single (Cartoons I’d Like to F***) Getting 50,000 plus views in just under four months and over 2500 Cds and 10,000 plus DVD’s sold independently, (2003’s GHOST SIGNS and 2005’s DEAD AND BREAKFAST,) anticipation for new product has been unbelievable. Songs in films and TV shows like “Wildfire,” “Unearthed,” “Looking for Sunday,” “The Space Between Us” and numerous commercials, (Including last year’s SBC Home Court with NBA players galore), has helped this band has built up a momentum that can simply not be stopped.
