Description
Honest People is the solo project of Michael Warren. Growing up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he co-founded and spent two years in the rock band Somerset, before moving to California. Currently attending university, studying Japanese, he also plays guitar and sings in rock band Polar State.
FOCUS is the first release in two and a half years from Honest People, and follows up a self-titled debut that was half instrumental, and was mostly just guitar. FOCUS, however, features broader instrumentation and a new-found confidence in vocal and lyrical approach, which is best summed up in the open lyric to the album: I want to feel something real.
