Description
Formerly known as Missionary One, Chris Dickens returns with his second helping of a heavy dose of 80's metal and biker rock!
Chris does all of the drums, bass, and rhythm gutar on this CD. Guest musicians include: Mark Howell, Darren Dickens, Bart Garnder, and others...but there is 1 very special guest on this CD.....SCOTT WENZEL OF WHITECROSS!!!! Scott sings on 3 tracks on this CD.
The first track, 'Run, has that classic 80's rock sound to it. crunching guitars, drums that banging away. This is one song that is best played if you are in a hurry to get somewhere - it will give you a lead foot. The lyrics are very openly Christian and very relatable too.
The second track, 'The Worm Dieth Not', has that same 80's vein to it as well.
'Hell Inside' is the first track sung by Scott Wenzel. This song tells the story of a young lady who has a real dysfunctional family. This is based on a real person. Even the young lady involved sings background vocals on it. Great songs, good guitar grooves and drumming.
Overall, this CD has great songs and some great musicians and playing. The lyrics are very faith centered and could rival some of the big name acts as far as content goes.
