Description
Graham Ord, Andrew Smith and Brian Weiebe are all independant artists whose passion for instrumental music drew tham together to create 'CHILL'.
Our concept was to make a CD that would be tonally organic, and musically interesting and compelling, yet unintrusive enough to play while relaxing with friends or contemplating - a recording perfect for chilling out.
When we first got together we submitted our somewhat crude 'musical sketches' and then set about 'painting between the lines' until they looked and felt like finished compositions. Our collaboration certainly inspired ideas that would not have come to us if we had worked alone on the pieces.
We traded licks on some gorgeous acoustic instruments - and even invented a few new chords! It was a joy to work with good friends with whom there is mutual respect and love.
We hope that you love this music as much as we enjoyed making it, and that it will inspire peace, contemplation, connection and meaning in the craziness of our often much too busy lives.
