Description
'Restless Days' is Lynn Jackson's third release and continues the path struck with her previous effort 'Sweet Relief'.Lynn has once again assembled a fine group of musicians, including Darrin Schott(violin/mandolin), Carrie Ashworth (bass), Duane Rutter (bass)and Blue Rodeo's Bob Egan on steel.Multi-instrumentalist Dan Walsh engineered the disc and also plays a variety of instruments (dobro/guitars/drums/keys).
'Restless Days' traverses a wide musical spectrum from uptempo (dare we say rocking ??) numbers such as 'Moment of Peace' and 'Circle' to beautifully poignant pieces such as 'Wintersong' and 'Time & Place'.Artistically, this record is a big step forward for Jackson, who delivers her strongest batch of songs yet !
