Description
Many years ago when a boy wore black all the time, everyone knew that the girl he had loved is now married to someone else and if the boy never told anyone about his love and the girl, he would have become a saint after his death. Those who have heard about Persian poets like Sohrab Sepehri know that he considers a saint because of his love for an unknown girl. Reza Sadeghi got his first exposure using the Internet. While his album was made available to be downloaded for free, many people couldn’t wait to buy his officially released album. Finally after 2 years, Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance decided to give the record company the required license and permission to publish the album called The Black Shirt by Reza Sadeghi. His first album sold about 800,000 units, which was a record breaker at the time. He has recently released his new album, “World, Stop”, and it is being distributed outside of Iran through T.R.R (Taraney –e Rooz Records). The album is in Farsi and Reza Sadeghi is asking the universe and the world to stop whatever that is doing. This album has a unique sound that is only found in the music that Persians make to express their love for their loved ones. The music makes you fall in love because it comes from someone who is or has been in love.
