Nicki teamed up with bassist Raymond Blair and percussionist Dave Holland to record her first independently released solo album "Precious Things". In 2001 she teamed up with singer/songwriter Staci Bence to form the duo "me & her", which allowed for well arranged harmonies to add a new dimension to the music. Together they released a live, 20 track CD incorporating new and previously released songs.
